Posted by: Shanna Smith on May 18, 2010 12:49:30 AM -05:00Baseball has always been a part of Tulsa’s history and the Drillers new stadium adds a beautiful and family friendly chapter to our baseball history.
Famed architectural firm Populous (formerly HOK Sport Venue Event) designed the stadium with nods to both modern and art deco design. The stadium was built by Manhattan Construction and was ready for opening day on April 8, 2010. We are lucky to have this treasure and I hope everyone makes it out to a few games this season.
Tulsa Drillers Baseball is an amazing value, even at normal princes it costs less to go to a ball game then it does to go to a movie. We are very luck that our Tulsa Drillers do have different specials and events to help make the experience better and more affordable for all.
